The Wrong Way Home

Hey I’m Izy

I’m a kiwi girl who is madly in love with travel. This is my long term travel blog. It all started at the end of 2010, when I was tired of the 9-5 and decided to go to Thailand on a whim. I fell in love with Asia and have been back numerous times since. I literally live and breathe travel.

Almost four years later, I’m finally becoming nomadic and location independent. I’ll travel the world, working online and documenting every step along the way. So whether you’re well travelled or just preparing for your first trip, I hope you’ll find some inspiration in my posts. This long term travel blog has been created to help you travel smarter, cheaper and longer than ever before.
